For our client, an international listed company based in Amsterdam, we are looking for a
Senior Legal Counsel (6-8 years)
Tasks
• Advising the business on all legal issues such as company law (acquisitions and joint ventures), divestments, draft, review and negotiate various (international) contracts (intercompany-, loan-), letters of intent, confidentiality agreements, guarantees, holding of annual shareholders meetings, dividends, annual report, secretary of supervisory and management board, press releases and contacts with AFM.
• Advising the management board and general counsel.
• Corporate housekeeping
Qualifications
• Master degree in Dutch law.
• Excellent knowledge of and experience in corporate law and (international) contract law.
• 6-8 years relevant work experience as a legal counsel (preferably in an international environment).
• Experience in advising a management board.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Flexible.
• Pragmatic and to the point.
• Proactive.
• Independent team player.
• Strong business focus.
• No nonsense and good sense of humour.
• Organizational sensitivity.
